Welcome To Chart Hitz NZTM
Chart Hitz NZ (New Zealand) is New Zealand's official online chart.  Our chart is decided by our members voting for their favourite song(s) each week from the voting form.  Because of this, our chart is solely based on the internet, not a mixture of sales and radio airplay as the New Zealand Singles Chart is.  That is what makes Chart Hitz NZ better than any other chart in New Zealand.

Our chart has been designed so that every person with an internet connection in New Zealand has the same chance of their favourite song(s) ranking highly.  We control this by only allowing people in New Zealand to vote by asking them a question that only a person living in New Zealand would know the answer to.  This verifies if they actually are living in New Zealand.  We allow people to vote for as many of the songs in the voting form as they like but we restrict them to submitting the form only once.  A new voting form is issued each week.

To become a member (membership is FREE), all you have to do is fill out the simple form below and you'll be able to vote in no time.

Important Announcement
After much thought I have come to the conclusion that, at least in the short-term, the lack of time I have to devote to the chart as well as other factors is hampering the chart's intended purpose.  Therefore Chart #177 is the last chart at least for the foreseeable future.  When we are ready to re-launch we will make an annoucement here on our home page.
